OUR MISSION
Hearts & Hands for Hispanics integrates the Hispanic community into vibrant, bible-preaching, local churches.
OUR VISION
To see God’s church full of all His people with a rich multi-cultural worship of our one true King.
what we believe
We adhere to the standards of the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Apostle’s Creed, and the Nicene Creed.
We believe in the five solas of the Reformation, which distinguished the Reformers from the teachings of Rome, which include sola scriptura
(Scripture alone), solus Christus (Christ alone), sola fide (faith alone), sola gratia (grace alone), and soli Deo gloria (glory to God alone).
our founders
Hearts and Hands for Hispanics was founded by spouses, Hermes Tomás and Alleen McLain. After serving for years as missionaries in Peru, they returned to the United States to study at Reformed Theological Seminary. Hermes and Alleen’s love for the Hispanic community remained strong and the Lord put several opportunities for them to serve churches looking to include the Hispanic community. Over coffee with a local pastor, the idea was born to begin a non-profit to aid in serving all the churches and the Hispanics. In God’s good mercy, this organization was born.
We hope to be a light in a dark world to all, but especially the Hispanic community.
our board of directors
Hearts & Hands for Hispanics is honored to have a diverse, energetic board of directors committed to the mission and vision of our ministry. The board meets quarterly and provides not only financial oversight and guidance, but also shepherds our mission and seeks to maintain its mission and vision.
