Life Goes by Fast

It has been a whirlwind few months! As we finalized our board, starting meeting regularly and seeking churches to partner with, the time flew by. Alleen has finished her Spring Semester at RTS and is on break until June 18, 2021, when she will start full time in the Master of Arts in Counseling Program. Hermes has been busy working with Faith Fellowship in Horn Lake visiting monthly and continuing with his bible study via Zoom. We have also been busy finalizing the website. On May 9, we became members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church here in Jackson. We are excited to be a formal part of the body of Christ again after a year of visiting several different churches. The rich worship and preaching has been good as we are back in the pews after so much online church.

Also, we are also looking to partner with Redeemer to start a Hispanic ministry there in the Church. Redeemer has a thirty days of prayer before any new ministry has started. So, we have our prayer team and meet weekly to pray together about what this ministry may look like. It has been such a sweet time to meet and pray together about how 3H Ministry may partner with Redeemer to reach the Hispanic community there in Broadmoor. Stay tuned for how that advances. Currently, we are looking at an August or September start date.

Finally, we have been accepted by Jackson Leadership Foundation as a ministry partner. We are thankful for their support and partnership. They help new non profits succeed here in Jackson, MS. If you don’t know about them yet, check them out: www.jacksonleadershipfoundation.org.

Thanks for your prayers as we continue to pray for God’s wisdom and guidance in launching this new non-profit. We can see His hand clearly on it and are thankful to be a small part of extending His kingdom here in MS!
